FIELD: systems for cooling circulating water in electric power stations, chemical, oil processing and metallurgical industry plants.
SUBSTANCE: cooling tower includes housing with air inlet windows, water distributing manifolds with sprayers arranged over and under sprinkler. Water distributing manifold under sprinkler is connected with separate water supply source through high-pressure water pump and it is communicated with annular evaporators uniformly arranged along cross section area of cooling tower. Each annular evaporator is provided with spraying nozzles arranged along circle of rings horizontally suspended in rope-block system mounted under sprinkler.
EFFECT: enhanced operational efficiency of cooling tower in condition of hot climate.
