FIELD: heating systems.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to heat-mass-exchange devices such as water cooling towers and can be used for cooling recirculated water at thermal power plants and in chemical and oil industries. Water cooling tower consists of a body with air-inlet openings, water-distributing header with a sprinkler and evaporator which is connected with an independent water supply source and equipped with ring tubular members along the circle periphery of which uniformly distributed are swirl-type atomisers. Evaporator is made in the form of a ring-type system wherein vertically suspended tubular members are located in air-inlet openings.
EFFECT: improving effective operation of a water cooling tower under hot climate conditions due to improving operating, maintenance and repair conditions.
