FIELD: measurement technology; estimation of microgeometry of surface of part and abrasive tools. SUBSTANCE: method consists in indication of roughness surface under test over rectilinear route in way perpendicular to traces of machining recording any irregularity of surface at this; then, measurements are repeated in parallel at pitch Δx; surface is additionally studied over rectilinear route in way perpendicular to previous measurement at pitch Δy, for forming datum topographical platform; according to deviations from profile thus found, coordinates of platform framework units are determined; natural curvature of topography of platform under test in the sense of Rima-Kristoffel and analytical assignment of modules of geometric model are determined. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of description of microgeometry of surface and restoration of natural curvature in units of topographic surface framework. 7 dwg
