SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the determination of the structural-tectonic structure of a buried folded foundation using seismic data. The method for determination of the structural and tectonic structure of the buried folded foundation comprises the following steps: acquisition of a seismic data cube and structural attribute cubes for angles of inclination of seismic features of the deposit area. Obtaining a set of seismic attribute maps of root-mean-square amplitudes (RMS-amplitudes). Acquiring the set of structural attribute maps, superimposing the set of RMS amplitude seismic attribute maps with the set of structural attribute maps and identifying at least three reference seismic types; well data acquisition. Obtaining structural maps of reflecting horizons based on well data. Determination of block types using well data links with reference seismic types and taking into account the framework of the buried folded foundation model. Filling the frame of the buried folded foundation model with block types and building a block geological model of the buried folded foundation.
EFFECT: improved quality of interpretation of seismic data in a complex tectonic structure associated with the complex nature of the seismic record, optimized and improved interpretation of geological information, improved accuracy of building a folded reservoir model, which increases the efficiency of its development by obtaining a larger volume of extracted fluid.
