FIELD: medicine, anesthesiology. SUBSTANCE: before operation patients are detected with the clinics of cervical osteochondrosis. It is conducted a dopplerographic study of circulation in the main artery in four positions of head unbending - head is horizontally, unbending angle being 10, 20, 30 deg. It is mathematically calculated a prediction value for the degree of circulatory encephalic disorders in vertebrobasilar pool - "C". Patients with "C" being below 1 form the group of minimal risk of possible disorders in cardiac activity and tracheal intubation is conducted at head unbending angle of not more than 30 deg. At "C" being equal to 1-1.20 - it is the group of average risk of possible disorders in cardiac activity and tracheal intubation is conducted at the angle of head unbending being not more than 20 deg. At "C" being above 1.21 patients participate in the group of high risk of possible cardiac disorders and tracheal intubation is conducted without head unbending, excluding all lateral turns. EFFECT: higher efficiency in preventing anesthetic complications. 6 dwg, 2 tbl
