FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: the method deals with increasing the resistance of formal elements to the action of unfavorable factors. The method is implemented by using a device which contains a mixing chamber for the contact of blood and perfluorodecaline being in sequence connected with gravitational blood fractionator designed for efficient purification of blood against perfluorocarbon premix. Contact space of a chamber is filled with a porous filler which has large amount of channels for blood flow, moreover, this contact space is separated from connecting pipes by the collectors to obtain steady distribution and collection of treated blood. The treatment is conducted in the following sequence: contact space is prefilled with perfluorodecaline, its excess from large pores of a filler is removed with air or oxygen flow, then the flow of treated blood is passed through. The value of minimal capillary liquid pressure in pores of a filler is set to be 2.5-3 times lower against the pressure of displacing gas and 1.5-2 times lower than working flow pressure of treated blood. The method excludes introduction of perfluorocarbon compound, for example, perfluorodecaline into vascular route, simplifies the process of blood treatment and increases the reliability in the work of corresponding devices.
