FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, obstetrics, perinatology, neonatology and pediatrics. Device contains chamber from transparent plastic filled with perfluorocarbon emulsion to level providing complete submergence of newborn. Reservoir includes in-built pump: heating element and source of ultraviolet radiation. By means of pump emulsion is supplied from chamber into reservoir and leaves it via system of branch pipes. Passing through reservoir emulsion is heated and radiated with light of ultra-violet spectrum in order to carry out microbial decontamination. In anterior chamber wall there is a branch pipe for access to umbilical cord vessels for performing parenteral feeding and extracorporal membrane oxygenation. Endotracheal tube is connected with open respiratory contour.
EFFECT: increase of efficiency of nursing of prematurely born babies with critically low body weight.
