FIELD: production of decorative sheet glass. SUBSTANCE: decorative sheet glass is produced by formation of ribbon on metal melt and simultaneous treatment of upper surface with reagent, wit formation of modified glass. Ribbon thinning is conducted, first simultaneously with application of decorating layer. Then, glass ribbon is cooled, not permitting of layer ruptures, to temperature of 820 C. After that, ribbon is thinned simultaneously with layer rupture. EFFECT: reduced different thicknesses of glass and wastes in its cutting. 1 dwg
