METHOD OF MINING OF STEEPLY DIPPING VEINS OF COMPOUND MORPHOLOGY Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

FIELD: mining industry; applicable in mining of compound morphology veins, particularly, with nonuniform thickness to the rise. SUBSTANCE: method includes driving of haulage drift, block raise, extraction of ore by inclined layers, ore partial shrinkage, drawing of ore excessive in breakage face space through ore chute. In mining of veins with nonuniform thickness to the rise, ore is extracted in two semiblocks with lengthening of central raise. At districts with reduced vein thickness below the minimum possible width of breakage space, rigid roofing is laid on shrinkage ore and selective extraction is made with broken rock left in semiblocks. At district of mining of veins with thickness corresponding to possible width of breakage face space and above, laid on broken rock is permanent flooring, and at point of joint of permanent flooring with ore cute, chute door is installed.
