FIELD: machine and engine cooling systems. SUBSTANCE: proposed radiator has upper and lower tanks connected by pipes, steam-air valve and horizontal partition in upper tank and collecting and air removing chambers. Upper tank has vertical partition separating collecting and air removing chambers from part of tank with branch pipe. Pipe connecting collecting chamber with air removing chamber is secured on horizontal partition. Free end of pipe is arranged in upper part of air removing chamber. Lower tank has vertical partition dividing tank into larger and smaller parts, larger part of tank being connected by pipes both with part of upper tank with branch pipe and with collecting chamber of upper tank, and lower part provided with branch pipe is connected by pipes with collecting chamber of upper tank. EFFECT: increased efficiency of air removal from cooling liquid and reduced hydraulic resistance of radiator. 2 cl, 1 dwg
