FIELD: engine engineering. SUBSTANCE: pump has housing, cover, shaft, thermostat box, and supplying and discharging branch pipes. The drive of the pump is mounted coaxially with respect to the crankshaft and connected with the front cover of the crankcase with the use of a press fitting. The thermostat box is arranged on the pump cover. The drive of the pump is made up as a driving gear of the valve mechanism connected with the crankshaft through a fastening washer provided with a shaped hollow. The washer can engage the shank of the pump shaft. The shape of the shank is answered to the shape of the hollow. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 1 dwg
