Proposed method of fuel delivery to diesel engines by fuel feed system with control of initial fuel pressure comprising fuel accumulator and lines connecting accumulator with high-pressure lines through distributors comes to the following: delivery of fuel into cylinders by system is cut off bleeding fuel from high-pressure lines into accumulator which is carried out at additional stroke of pump plungers. Bleeding is carried out until preset initial fuel pressure in high-pressure lines is obtained by changing time of opening of distributor valves. EFFECT: increased intensity of injection, stability and uniformity of fuel delivery into diesel engine cylinder. 5 dwg
