FIELD: mechanical engineering; diesel engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention makes it possible to intensify process of fuel feed by speed of shaft of fuel pump and to increase intercycle stability and uniformity of fuel deliveries into diesel engine cylinders by increasing level of initial pressure in delivery main line at intercycle period at simplification of design of system. Fuel system for diesel engine contains high-pressure fuel-injection pump, nozzle, distributor, bypass valve, main line to deliver fuel to nozzle, make up main line and low-pressure line. Distributor is three-position device made in form of hollow cylinder with delivery, throttling and bypass holes made radially at angle of 90o relative to each other inside which shaft with blind axial channel and radial distributing hole is installed for rotation. Said distributing hole aligns with each of holes of hollow cylinder in turn. In first position, blind axial channel communicates with nozzle through delivery hole and delivery main line, in second position it communicates through throttling hole with delivery main line through make-up main line, and in third position, it communicates through bypass hole with low-pressure line. Distributor is connected with fuel pump by high-pressure line.
EFFECT: provision of intensification of process of fuel delivery, increased stability and uniformity of deliveries.
