FIELD: chemical, radio chemical industries. SUBSTANCE: invention is related to installations meant for thermal decomposition and burning of small quantities of solid, lumpy, industrial waste containing valuable components. Furnace has body with thermal insulation housing heaters and traveling chain grate coming in the form of set of lattice baskets with counterweights hinged to teeth of wheel rotated by drive shaft and interacting with mechanisms of their tipping-over coming in the form of mobile rests, tie-rods and axles installed in body of furnace. Furnace is equipped with ash pan with additional folding grate fitted with mechanism of control over it and branch pipes supplying heated air. Furnace has branch pipes for injection of waste, for supply of air and for removal of residual products of combustion. EFFECT: more complete and intensive burning of waste as multiple stirring and passage of waste through zones of heated flows is secured which makes it feasible to raise markedly operational efficiency of furnace. 3 cl, 2 dwg
