FIELD: removal and processing of solid wastes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to processing of solid wastes in municipal services and industry by means of their gasification and combustion in conditions providing environmentally friendly composition of end products - flue gases and coke-ash residue. Installation for neutralization and destruction of solid municipal wastes comprises a gasification chamber with a solid waste loading opening, under which an ash pan is installed, an annular afterburning chamber with an inlet branch pipe of secondary air and an outlet branch pipe of combustion products. Installation for neutralization and destruction of solid municipal wastes additionally contains a grate and agitator in the lower part of the gasification chamber, a screw ash remover, an adjustment gate on the inlet branch pipe of the secondary air intake. Ash pan with the auger ash remover are located under the grate. Gasification chamber is located inside afterburner chamber. Upper part of gasification chamber is uniformly perforated along perimeter in staggered order, and in its central part there is a vertical pipe which is uniformly perforated in a staggered order along the entire perimeter and in the lower part is connected by a bend with a horizontal pipe extending beyond the gasification chamber. and to which diesel burner and primary air intake branch pipe with primary air control flap are attached.

EFFECT: increasing the efficiency and reliability of neutralization and destruction of municipal solid waste by dividing the process of thermal processing of solid waste into two stages.
