FIELD: medicine, anesthesiology. SUBSTANCE: the method provides prediction at the earlier stages of abdominal sepsis development due to evaluating the activity of Willebrand's factor as a marker of endothelial injure. Basing on this fact, it is chosen an optimal therapeutic method directed for correction of endothelial injure. In patients with disseminated peritonitis and abdominal sepsis it is necessary to determine the activity of Willebrand's factor beginning since the first day after operative interference. At its increase above 140% it is predicted an unfavorable flow of abdominal sepsis. EFFECT: higher efficiency of prediction.
