FIELD: powder metallurgy, manufacture of cores of reactors and transformers operating predominantly in heavy-current electric circuits. SUBSTANCE: given process includes production of magnetic powder, its mixing with binder, formation of magnetic core or its composite parts, thermal treatment and assembly of magnetic core. Magnetic powder is produced by comminution of thermally treated strip of fast-hardened, magnetically soft alloy. Magnetic core or its composite parts are formed by casting mixture into moulds. EFFECT: simplified process of manufacture of powder magnetic cores thanks to avoidance of employment of pressing equipment, lifted size restrictions for cores, improved magnetic parameters of cores due to use of fast-hardened, magnetically soft alloys. 1 dwg
