FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention refers to process of manufacture of tubular electric heaters with installation of thermal cut-out of single action inside their tubes designed to protect electric heater against overheating if trouble arises. In correspondence with process first metal jacket of tubular electric heater is treated thermally. Then electric heater with thermal cut-out is inserted into metal jacket. Electric heater presents wire wound along spiral, one end of wire is lead-out or is connected to it, the other end of wire is connected to one of two electrodes of thermal cut-out which is temperatu-resensitive element in the form of tightly sealed tube of fusible current-conductive metal. Internal space of tube is filled with substance-activating agent, then space between wire wound along spiral, thermal cut-out and metal jacket is filled with loose, heat-resistant, electric insulation material. Metal jacket is closed by plugs on both ends, leads are passed through holes in plugs, metal jacket is reduced with compaction of loose, heat-resistant, electric insulation material, tubular electric heater is bent and plugs are replaced with electric insulation elements. EFFECT: reduced labor input and time of manufacture of tubular electric heater with thermal cut-out of single action. 2 dwg
