INSTRUMENT FOR CONTROLLING ANIMAL'S READINESS FOR MACHINE MILKING PROCEDURE Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: instrument has casing with flexible suckers pivotally attached by brackets, elastic bulb-shaped member connected to suckers through flexible branch pipes, spherical deforming member with ejector and measuring device made in the form of strain-sensitive membrane. Brackets are equipped with slots along which elastic suckers are movable for changing space between them depending on initial size of blood vessel under test. Pivotal connection of brackets and casing allows flexible suckers to follow surface of attached portion (of abdominal cavity or udder). Spherical deforming member is joined to ejector through threaded connection allowing depth of penetration of spherical deforming member into blood vessel tissue to be regulated, when instrument is attached to animal's body. EFFECT: increased efficiency in performing approximate analysis of animal's readiness for machine milking procedure and simplified construction of instrument. 3 cl, 1 dwg
