FIELD: salvaging of worn-out, damaged, rejected in production tires, metallic tires inclusive. SUBSTANCE: tire, having bead rings, is fastened, rotated, cut to several components that are then processed and the rubber, textile and metal components are extracted. At fastening the tire is compressed in the axial direction up to a flexural strain in the breaker-tread section, tire rotation is accomplished. The casing-breaker-tread ring is cut out with the aid of knives movable in the radial direction, two side walls are separated. The cut-out ring is tightly fixed on the inside diameter on a machine with an extensible rotating drum, set in rotation, and the tread rubber layer is removed. The remaining casing-breaker section of the ring is rolled by rolls for separation of the reinforcing materials from rubber. The bead rings are removed from the side walls by leveling both before the fastening and cutting of the tire to components, and after cutting. EFFECT: facilitated procedure.
