METHOD OF AND DEVICE FOR REMOVING SEPARATE ARTICLES OR GROUPS OF ARTICLES FROM CASCADE FLOW Russian patent published in 2005 - IPC

FIELD: mechanical engineering; conveyor transport.

SUBSTANCE: according to proposed method of removing separate articles or groups of articles from flow of articles in cascade which includes row of flat articles overlapping each other and which is transported with fixing of articles along first branch of conveyor, fixing of article flow section arranged on first branch of conveyor at inlet of article removing section is released and articles to be removed from flow are conveyed from first branch of conveyor to second branch, and remaining sections are transported through article removing section at unchanged state with fixing in first branch of conveyor. Device for implementing said method contains first conveyor transportation means with fixing devices for transportation with fixing of article flow in cascade along first branch of conveyor and input check means for selection switching off fixing devices of first conveyor. Input check means is arranged at input of articles removing section passed by first conveyor, and second conveyor adjusted for removing articles and mated at input of articles removing section with first branch of conveyor and adjusted at articles removing section for transportation along first branch of conveyor or for conveying articles from first branch of conveyor to second branch. Fixing means of first conveyor are installed for fixing flow of articles in cascade on first section, and those of second conveyor are installed for acting onto flow of articles in cascade on second section, non-coinciding with first section. First and second conveyors are installed for synchronous movement. Invention makes it possible to remove sections from flow of articles in cascade in process of their transportation with fixing on conveyor, and provision is made for preventing influence of process of removal transportation of articles not to be removed and further transported by conveyor.

EFFECT: improved reliability, simple design of device.
