FIELD: inorganic compounds technology. SUBSTANCE: lithium hydroxide and tantalum oxide are ground to particle size less than 1 mcm. Mixture is dehydrated and heated in oxygen-containing gas flow (70-100 vol.% oxygen and 0.01-0.05 wt.% moisture) to 850- 900 C at heating rate 1-20 C/min, preferably 4-10 C/min.
