FIELD: precious metal technology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hydrometallurgy of precious metals, in particular, to methods for sorption- ecovery of metals, and may be used for recovering platinum metals from spent precipitate refining solutions and also in metallurgical and chemical production waste processing. Method includes: sorption of platinum-group metal- containing chloride solutions in dynamic mode using, as sorbent, low-basicity polycondensation anionite with epoxypolyamine-based matrix; treatment of saturated anionite with concentrated nitric acid to form nitric acid solution containing platinum metals, which is subjected to platinum metals' refining. More specifically, sorption is accomplished from chloride solutions containing 0.5-3.0 M HCl by passing solution at velocity no higher than 70 ml/h. sq. cm through column with sorbent bed having height-to-diameter ratio equal to or higher than 1:8.
