FIELD: measuring equipment, in particular, ionometry, applicable in ecology monitoring systems. SUBSTANCE: method consists in compensation of voltage variations of a drain-source ionoselective field-effect transistor caused by deviation of the potential of the ionoselective membrane of the field-effect transistor, additional measurement of the temperature on the surface of the field-effect transistor ionoselective membrane, and finding of the unknown ion activity in accordance with the mathematical model of physicochemical processes in the measurement. A device for measurement of ion activity in solutions is also claimed. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of ion activity in a solution. 2 cl, 4 dwg
