FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, namely to a lead accumulator, which contains electrolyte, a unit of negative electrodes separated by separators and a block of positive electrodes, wherein acid-resistant webs of AGM fabric with thickness of 0.1–0.2 mm are embedded into active mass of each positive electrode on both sides. Absorbent glass fabric is made of glass fibers with diameter of 0.5–4 mcm and glass fibers with diameter of 12 mcm. Proposed invention increases storage battery capacity from 6.8–7.0 to 7.4–8.1 A⋅h (by 8.8–15.7 %), as well as its service life from 340–360 to 390–410 cycles (by 14.7–17.1 %).
EFFECT: increased capacitance characteristics and service life of accumulator.
