FIELD: radio-telephone systems rendering urgent services to radiophone operating in radio-telephone system. SUBSTANCE: system accepts request for connecting radiophone to desired telephone number from radiophone. Then telephone system inquires about unique radiophone-identifying number. The latter makes it possible for radio-telephone system to connect radiophone to radio-telephone system. Radio-telephone system maintains setting of direct inward dialing numbers used exclusively for urgent calls. Each direct inward dialing number enables calling subscriber to convey call to telephone set of radio-telephone system. Urgent call is assigned to one of these direct inward dialing numbers and assigned one enters into communication with unique identifying number of calling telephone set. Radiophone is then connected to urgent call operator and the latter receives assigned direct inward dialing number. The latter enables conducting urgent calls from operator to radiophone through radio-telephone system. One of alternatives also makes it possible for direct inward dialing number assigned to radiophone to identify antenna closest to radiophone. Job between direct inward dialing number and identifying number is completed upon expiration of preset time period that may be changed by calling party or by those servicing urgent call. EFFECT: improved design of radio-telephone system. 13 cl, 2 dwg
