FIELD: food engineering. SUBSTANCE: meat grinder has casing with channels, feeding funnel, feeding auger and cutting unit comprising knife and grid. Meat grinder is further provided with additional knife. Said knives are arranged at both sides of grid in mating relation one with respect to another and are fixed relative to casing. Grid is mounted on auger shaft for rotation. Thickness of grid is 0.8-1.5 mm. Immovable knives are arranged at both sides of grid to prevent the latter from flexing and, accordingly, to provide for effective grinding of raw material by pair of cutting tools.
