TILTING ROLLER TABLE FOR ROLLED SHEETS Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

FIELD: machine engineering in metallurgy, namely equipment of sheet rolling shops, mainly flow line of plate rolling mills. SUBSTANCE: tilting roller table includes two floors of mutually parallel rollers provided with drive unit; tilting mechanism in the form of supporting frame mounted with possibility of rotation by 180 degrees around tilting axis and having at least two annular tracks secured to it. Annular tracks engage with supporting rollers and with rotation drive unit mounted on foundation. Floors of parallel rollers are secured to supporting frame in such a way that upper level of rollers of lower floor coincides with upper level of rollers of transporting roller table and tilting axis passes through middle of spacing between floors of parallel rollers and through centers of annular tracks. Tilting roller table is provided with emergency stops, supporting frame is provided with respective stops and shock absorbers. Invention provides maximum coincidence of rolling center with tilting axis. EFFECT: enlarged assortment of rolled products by width, lowered energy and metal consumption. 2 cl, 4 dwg
