SOFT CONTAINER FOR TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE OF BULK CARGOES Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

FIELD: materials transportation and storage. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to transportation and storage of bulk cargoes in soft containers, capacity up to 14 tons, which can be used in metallurgy, chemical industry, food industry. Proposed soft container has container proper with upper charging hole and lower discharge hole, load-bearing net with lifting loops, bottom and locking device including band loops with metal ring on one end for pinching, stud for cottering and safety tapes to prevent spontaneous unlocking. Container proper is placed in load bearing net and is connected with net in its upper part by means of split joint. The latter consists of series-connected loops secured on container and on load-bearing net with last groups of loops interconnected by cord. Extensioner of loops secured on container are made in form of bands arranged with inclination relative to direction of threads of container warp and weft. Load-bearing net is provided with bottom with hole and bypass member coinciding with container discharge hole. Container has hoses with band loops for pinching, and system of valves. One of hoses is secured on top of charging hole to provided charging of container without spraying of bulk cargo and sealing of container upper part at transportation and storage of bulk cargoes. Other hose has locking device. This hose is secured on lower discharge hole of container for fitting its outlet section in process of discharging into hatches of vehicle or storage to prevent spraying of material in ambient atmosphere. System of valves is provided with locking device being secured on one member of hole on load-bearing net bottom for fixing the hose in folded down position of discharge hole of container. EFFECT: improved convenience in operation owing to provision of hermetic charging and discharging of materials into vehicles or storage and protection of ambient atmosphere from pollution. 8 dwg
