FIELD: purification and decontamination of water, testing water ozone treatment plants before placing them in operation. SUBSTANCE: proposed monitoring-and-test station is provided with storage reservoir for initial water, tank with contaminating admixtures brought into communication with contact reactor connected with ozonized water reservoir, pumps, control instruments, pipe lines and shut-off fittings for connection of contact reactor with plant under test including at least one module of each listed below: monitoring and control system, temperature and humidity control system, air preparation system, ozone generator cooling system, ozone generator power supply system, ozone generator system, rotameters, psychrometer, ozone concentration sensor, temperature sensor and pressure sensor, ozone-and-air mixture distributor for delivery of lesser part of ozone-and-air mixture of contact reactor and larger part of this mixture to excessive ozone decomposition system. Method of testing the water ozonization plant consists in connecting this plant with monitoring-and-testing station, mixing contaminating mixtures taken from respective tank in preset amount with initial water and feeding water thus contaminated to contact apparatus; required amount of ozone-and-air mixture is fed to contact reactor by means of said distributor and remaining part of ozone-and-air mixture is fed to excisable ozone decomposition system; water treated in contact apparatus is fed to ozonized water container where concentration of admixtures is checked; concentration of residual ozone is also measured in contact apparatus, ozonized water reservoir and residual ozone decomposition system.
