SUBSTANCE: apparatus has device adapted for applying process preparation and made in the form of plate curved in accordance with shape of rectilinear helicoid, and device adapted for supplying process preparation and made in the form of cylindrical channel extending axially of helicoid and communicating with openings formed in helicoid surface. Fibrous product is movable along helical path and is sliding with its entire surface over said path to facilitate uniform distribution of process preparation over yarn and thread surface. EFFECT: improved tearing strength and reduced yarn and thread fluffiness. 3 dwg
