FIELD: measurement technology; applicable in measurement of tension of fixed flexible members, for instance, rope, cable, wire, etc, particularly, in oil and gas industry. SUBSTANCE: dynamometer has measuring transducer connected with calibrating transducer located on flexible beam carrying pressing-deflecting device embracing flexible member and pressing it to flexible beam. It additionally has clamping devices and supports whose one end is made in the form of wedge of sphere. Clamping devices consist of two components tightly embracing flexible member in points of its bends, and said components are tightened together by screw couple. Internal surfaces of embracing components corresponds to shape of flexible member. Location of flexible member relative to flexible beam is fixed in points of contact of support of guide made, for instance, in the form of pin and/or recess. Number of clamping devices and stops corresponds to number of flexible member bends. Measuring transducer is made with use of semiconductor strain members installed on membrane located inside of flexible beam. Pressing-deflecting device has clamp embracing flexible member, plate and components pressing flexible member to flexible beam. Higher accuracy of measurement of flexible member tension and reliable operation of said dynamometer are attained due to elimination of effect of changed of flexible member deflection angle and its fixing in process of measurement that reduces scattering of readings of dynamometer, results in reduction of error and increase of measurement accuracy and exclusion of friction and bending of wires of flexible member in points of its contact with posts, enhances operating reliability of dynamometer.
