FIELD: mining, particularly, development of safety valves for hydraulic props operating under conditions of mines with difficult-to-cave roofs hazardous for manifestation of dynamic loads. SUBSTANCE: safety valve includes support, locking member and movable seat tightly installed in body with hole for fluid draining. Movable seat has mounting socket for locking member and hole for fluid supply to under locking member. Movable seat and locking member made in the form of membrane with bead over periphery are pressed along axis by means of nut on side of locking member and retaining ring on side of movable seat. Membrane bead comes in contact with mounting socket of movable seat which is made with circular protrusion located for engagement with membrane internal surface. Support is installed for motion in axial direction and has motion limiter. EFFECT: higher fast response in provision of protection of hydraulic prop from static and dynamic loads due to forces of locking member flexibility. 1 dwg
