FIELD: heat power engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to heating and hot water supply systems for producing steam and hot water. Proposed steam-water boiler has fire chamber with heating surface in form of end face wall, steam chamber with steam generation surface made integral with end face wall of fire chamber in form of fire plate, steam uptake tube communicating with housing. Boiler is furnished with cold water inlet and hot water outlet tubes arranged in housing to form shell-and-tube heat exchanger and downtake tube to return condensate from exchanger. Lower end of downtake tube is located in steam chamber and is furnished with condensate sprayer, and upper end of uptake tube is located in housing. Fire plate surface can be provided with projections and cavities. Uptake tube is placed inside downtake tube. Upper end of uptake tube is located above condensate level in heat exchanger housing.
