FIELD: heat exchange.
SUBSTANCE: shell-and-tube heat exchanger includes a casing enveloping multiple U-shaped tubes of the tube bundle. Each pipe has the first section and the second section. Open ends of every pipe are connected with tube plate. Pressure chamber is connected with tube plate. Pressure chamber contains a guiding casing connected by the first end to the tube grid or to the first tubular sections, and its second end opposite to the first end is opened. Guide casing divides the pressure chamber into the first section and the second section. First section and the second section are connected to each other through the open end of the guide casing. Liquid level in the first section is located below the open end and, therefore, above the liquid level the steam chamber is located.
EFFECT: shell-and-tube heat exchanger is proposed.
