FIELD: analytical chemistry, ecological and sanitary control over contamination of air in production rooms, analysis of gases ejected by burning of waste of fluoroorganic factories. SUBSTANCE: analyzed mixture is separated in flow of carrier gas in chromatographic column where silochrome modified by dibutylphtalate in the amount of 2-3 per cent of mass of sorbent is used as sorbent. Surface of silochrome contains 2-3 mcmole/sq m of OH group which is achieved by treatment of initial silochrome in distilled water on boiling water bath in the course of 60.0 h, by drying it at 120 C and calcination at 300-400 C in the course of 1.0 h. Detector of constant recombination rate is employed to record perfluoroisobutylene. Flameionization detector analyzes gases generated by burning of waste of fluoroorganic factories. Method is characterized by selectivity and high sensitivity of determination of perfluoroisobutylene ( up to 0.05 mg/cu m which is 0.5 maximum permissible concentration ). A number of accompanying fluoroorganic compounds are registered and their quantities are found simultaneously with perfluoroisobutylene.
