SUBSTANCE: the method consists in determination of sulfur fluorides, mainly of dimer of sulfur pentafluoride and/or sulfurylfluoride in the air by separation of the sample being analyzed on a chromatograph column filled with silica gel that is modified by diisooctylcebacinate making 3 to 5% of the total mass of sorbent; silica gel is preliminarily treated by boiling in hydrochloric acid, washed of the ions of chlorine and calcined at 150 to 300 C, and for registration of the above admixtures use is made of a detector of constant speed of recombination.
