FIELD: optoelectronic devices, in particular, infra-read night vision devices, in particular monocular devices designed for observation on terrain, control of transport facilities, guarding of objectives and territories, conducting of research, rescue and engineering work in the conditions of natural night illuminance at an absence of sources of visible light, as well as in the conditions of absolute darkness. SUBSTANCE: the device has a head-band, monocular, having a lens, electro-optical transducer, eye-piece, power supplies and a control unit. Besides, the device has a means for adjustment of the monocular working position, including a slide made for adjustment of monocular departure from the user's eye. According to the invention, the means for installation of the monocular on the head-band has a holder secured on the head-band, bracket for installation of the head-band, axle box rigidly coupled to the mentioned bracket and designed for arrangement of the bracket on the mentioned holder. The axle box is installed for turning of the axle box with the bracket through an angle of 60 to 120 deg.
