FIELD: equipment for catching fish and other aqueous organisms. SUBSTANCE: lifting trap has netted web, spacing members connected to netted web for folding trap during submersion and lifting thereof and arranged radially in trap mouth, and trap opening and closing control unit. Spacing members are made flexible and may become rigid by filling them with pressurized air. Inner ends of spacing members are connected with pressurized air source, which is arranged in netted web and located inside variable buoyancy vessel communicated to outside atmosphere and equipped with spacing member rigidity stabilizer. Outer ends of spacing members are equipped with heads facilitating speeded-up closing of trap. Such construction allows range of foldable lifting traps for catching fish and other aqueous organisms to be widened by using attracting facilities such as light and other physical and/or physicochemical means. Trap may be used at increased depths. EFFECT: increased efficiency, reliable controlling of trap closing and folding operation at increased water flow, and convenient use. 7 cl, 3 dwg
