NUT WRENCH Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

Abstract RU 2189304 C2

FIELD: machine engineering, possibly assembling-disassembling operations, restoration of articles. SUBSTANCE: nut wrench includes handle provided with head in one end. In cavity of head ratchet wheel with polygonal opening and spring-loaded pawl engaging with teeth of ratchet wheel are mounted. Ratchet wheel is in the form of row of ratchet discs rigidly joined one with another and mutually shifted by value of circumferential pitch. Pawl is in the form of elastic plates. One end of each plate is rigidly mounted in cavity of head; its other end engages with respective disc of ratchet wheel. Quantity of elastic plates is multiple to number of ratchet discs. Such construction of nut wrench provides predetermined minimum rotation angle of handle at screwing or unscrewing at keeping strength of ratchet wheel. EFFECT: improved design, enhanced comfort of using nut wrench. 2 dwg
