FIELD: plastic metal working, boring precise holes in coordinate and diamond-and-carbide tool boring machines. SUBSTANCE: head includes housing, elastically deformed cutter holder and fine adjustment mechanism. Head is provided with mechanism for preliminarily adjustment. Mechanism for fine adjustment is in the form of fine adjustment screw arranged normally relative to rotation axis of head and spacing elastic plate mounted in cavity of housing with possibility of deformation by action of fine adjustment screw. Said plate engages by its one end with groove of housing and by is other end - with preliminary adjustment mechanism. EFFECT: improved quality and accuracy of bored holes, enhanced accuracy of cutter adjustment. 1 dwg
