FIELD: plastic metal working, boring precise holes in coordinate and diamond-and-carbide tool boring machines. SUBSTANCE: head includes housing, elastically deformed cutter holder and fine adjustment mechanism. Head is provided also with mechanism for preliminary adjustment. Fine adjustment mechanism is in the form of fine adjustment screw arranged normally relative to rotation axis of head and spacing rod mounted in cavity of housing in such a way that its one end engages with above mentioned fine adjustment screw and its other end - with mechanism for preliminary adjustment. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of adjusting cutter, improved quality of holes bored in different type machine tools. 1 dwg
