FIELD: escape of submariners from damaged submarine. SUBSTANCE: proposed device has escape hatch with upper cover provided with double-acting pneumatic drive and lower cover; covers are provided with position sensors which are connected with shut-off filling and draining fittings; introduced inside hatch are sensitive elements of level setter and regulator for maintenance of excessive pressure in drive's outfit. Control of air-lock forming procedure is effected by means of pneumatic manipulator made in form of three-way cock. Besides that, device is provided with regulating valve fitted in hatch trunk filling pipe line, level setter for control of regulating valve vent valve and valve for comparison of pressure in hatch trunk with sea water pressure following the pressure equalizing moment and controlling double-acting pneumatic drive of upper cover. Lower cover of hatch is provided with pneumatic drive to exclude manual operations in performing air-locking cycles; it is controlled from hatch trunk.
