FIELD: oil and gas production. SUBSTANCE: invention aims at recovering boron, magnesium, lithium, iodine, and bromine contained in low concentrations in oil-field association water. Water is preliminarily fried of suspended impurities and oil. Boron is first extracted from pretreated water, after which magnesium and lithium are precipitated. Iodine is then isolated via ion-exchange sorption and bromine is finally isolated by air desorption technique. Thus treated water is conveyed to formation pressure-maintenance system to be injected into formation. EFFECT: increased degree of recovery of all elements contained in water and preserved its quality as formation water. 1 dwg
