FIELD: equipment for drilling of pilot holes for further reaming with subsequent pulling of pipeline lengths in trenchless laying of pipelines, and drilling of mining holes by horizontal faces from productive beds close to day surface. SUBSTANCE: drilling unit consists of additional and main frames hinged to each other, mechanism for inclination of additional frame relative to the main one, braces for fixing of inclination angle, reactive ties connecting anchorage system with additional frame for neutralizing reactive moment transmitted to additional frame, and additional braces rear of which are load-carrying, taking up total load exerted on drilling unit as a whole.
