FIELD: manufacture of compressors; manufacture of high-speed centrifugal machines. SUBSTANCE: centrifugal compressor has housing with stator and rotor and arranged inside it. Impeller of rotor is sectional in construction. At least peripheral part of impeller is sectional; it consists of axial rings interconnected over cylindrical surface at negative allowance. Each ring is provided with radial holes adjoining each other. Opposite walls of holes form blades in pairs or side walls of disks forming common profile of inter-blade passages, cover disk and main disk of impeller. Sectional rings of peripheral part of impeller are made from material possessing different coefficients of linear expansion. EFFECT: enhanced economical efficiency of compressor due to reduced stresses in its impeller. 2 cl, 3 dwg
