CRANE-MANIPULATOR PLANT SLEWING GEAR POST Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

Abstract RU 2213043 C2

FIELD: lifting and transport engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to slewing gear posts of large capacity crane-manipulator plants mounted, mainly, on chassis of vehicles. Proposed post is essentially curved two-support cantilever beam with box housing made on thin-sheet steel U-shaped section with cross-section variable in structural depth and decreasing in upper direction, and hollow support welded to said housing. Hollow support is provided with neck and tenon interconnected by smooth conical shell. Ring beads are formed on outer surface of neck and support surface of tenon providing axial fixing of support in bearings. Box-type end connector is provided on neck of hollow support. Connector has side lugs cantilever brought out forward with tilting relative to longitudinal axis and provided with coaxial holes for axle of fastening of boom lifting hydraulic cylinder housing. Box of connector consists of two adjacent sections. U-shaped section of housing consists of two mirror-image curved fragments of structure L-shaped in cross-section with upwards narrowing back and side walls. Front edges of wedge projections of side walls of U-shaped section of housing and adjoining lugs of support neck connector are aligned. Housing is furnished with welded-to curvilinear lip located flush with said front edges and smoothly mated with trapezoidal wall closing L-shaped fragments. Curvilinear lip is provided with central through recess in body downwards and profiled with clearance over outer outline of boom lifting hydraulic cylinder housing. Bushing is additionally welded into cheeks of housing head near bearing bushing for axle of boom connection. Length of said bushing exceeds length of first bushing for axle of hinge-coupling with levers of hinge-and-lever mechanism of mechanical coupling of post, boom and rod of boom lifting hydraulic cylinder. EFFECT: simplified design, ease of manufacture. 10 cl, 32 dwg
