FIELD: floor covering. SUBSTANCE: covering module has preliminarily secured decorative covering and retaining sheet, which may be assembled by applying hook-and-loop system to additional covering module for creating covering for floor, onto which carpet, tile, facing of stone or other material is applied. Said covering is not attached to floor. According to other version, covering is adapted for closing hooks to prevent hooks from early engagement with loops making part of fastening system. Covering module of such structure is readily removed and mounted and has weight sufficient for stable fixing thereof without necessity of attachment to base.
