FIELD: production of floor or wall cover. SUBSTANCE: fleecy cover is made from nonwoven fleecy fabric having ground knitted through with thread so as to form cut loops secured in ground by means of glue. Cover is made from integral length of fleecy fabric having sheared-through uniform height fleece portions forming background, raised or lowered fleece portions defining relief ornament, which is imparted volume by shearing-through V-shaped depression between outer contours of ornament and background. Another version of cover is made from plurality of parts of fleecy fabric joined by first layer of adhesive applied along joint lines of cover so that adhesive partially penetrates into space between joined parts and by means of adhesive netted tape and second adhesive layer. Portions of fleece surface are sheared-through along joint lines so as to form V-shaped profile between joint parts. This profile makes relief ornament three-dimensional. Fleecy portions are sheared through and combed through several times till relief corresponding to predetermined cover design is obtained.
