FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves measuring head circumference and the received value is substituted into mathematical formulas: =L/11 -2, where H1 is the ethmoid bone cribriform lamina height in the anterior division in mm, 11 is the empirical constant coefficient, 2 is the empirical constant value; =L/12-2, where H2 is ethmoid bone cribriform lamina height in the posterior division in mm, L is the head circumference in mm, 12 is the empirical constant coefficient, 2 is the empirical constant value. EFFECT: high accuracy in providing reference point useable in performing surgical interventions on ethmoidal labyrinth.
